The Devil on Retainer (Not Sorry)
BY THE LONGBOX
I mixed a CD for some friends of mine a few years ago, even adding in some guitars and vocals when necessary. I was always pleased with how this track came out. One of the most fun to play guitar tracks I've ever come up with.
Giving Light Away
BY THE BLUE SPUTNIK
An internet collaborative with my buddies in Houston, The Blue Sputnik. A fun time and a challenge to find a place for the vocal within Don's cool arrangement and progression. I really like how the track turned out. Hit their link below on Soundcloud and check out more of their cool collaborations!
Put Me Away
Mixed and somewhat co-produced by yours truly, I had such a great time working with these guys that I ended up joining the band and performing around Texas for a few years with them. My main focus in production and later performing with the band was entirely keyboard focused, something that really made it impossible for me to stay in the band for long. Evidently there are too many things that I enjoy doing. No regrets though. What a blast! Enjoy the tune!
BY SONJOHN / JOHNORRFRANKLIN
My first all in dive into retro synthesis. I purchased a Roland Juno 106 and repaired my classic Arp synth so I felt challenged to truly try and compose some classic synth wave tracks that have the sound of the 80's presented in a more modern context. Cruise Control is a mix and a production I'm truly proud of. There is an super cool video for it on my YouTube channel as well.

In the midst of conceptualizing this new song, I took a break from it for a few days and watched season one of Stranger Things on Netflix. The show really struck a chord with me and seemed to relate with the concept I was already working on. Once I came up with the chorus and decided to name the song Stranger Things, it just made sense to go ahead and cater it even more to the show. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it!
An experimental synthesizer and guitar improvisation. I found this one recently and desided to post it. I don't really have much of a memory of making it and I'm not real sure how I did make it. Maybe when I pull the project up again and inspect the tracks it will help me recollect exactly what is going on here. Until then, I prefer to enjoy it as it is which is a bit of a mystery..
Viva Las Vegas
BY ONE CUT OFF
A cover song that didn't make the cut for the "One Cut Off" LP. I actually originally came up with this by processing the mono track of Elvis's original version. I actually like the version with his voice on it even more than this one. For obvious legal reasonsI've shyed away from doing much with the one that actually has Elvis singing on it.
One part remix, One part redux, One part crazy robot.
Running (2016 HD Remix)
For this mix I up converted some of the original tracks and flew in some live tracks of the bass and drums from a concert. Featuring Ryan Redfern on Bass Guitar and Roberto Palladino on Drums. This mix has quite a bit more power than the original mix found on the Pathways LP.
